THERE ARE BIG CHANGES HAPPENING THIS YEAR!!
We are moving our event to Quicksilver Golf Course on July 14! We are excited to offer a superior experience at this year's outing. The staff at Quicksilver is committed to providing the top notch service that will make the "Ono Open" the premiere privately run charity golf outing in Pittsburgh.  We are also changing to a 4-person scramble format.  This should make the more challenging holes of Quicksilver more manageable for everyone.

MY DAD'S WISH
My Dad always wished to have a day each year to spend with family and friends at one of his favorite places; a golf course. Therefore, in 1996 we started the Onomastico Open. When he passed away in December 2007, I decided to continue our tradition and hold the outing in his honor.
Unfortunately, Joe Sr. had many ailments in his later years. In particular, poor kidney function forced him to receive dialysis treatments three days per week, every week, without fail. Although he did not look forward to his treatments, he always spoke in glowing terms when discussing his caregivers at the dialysis center. They helped to make a less than desirable activity more than bearable. I am thankful for knowing that. It is why I have decided to take this opportunity to raise funds for the National Kidney Foundation, in his name.

The NKF Serving the Alleghenies was founded in 1978 by a group of concerned people who wanted to increase awareness of kidney and urinary tract diseases and work toward finding a cure.

The territory of the NKF Serving the Alleghenies includes 33 counties in Western Pennsylvania.  They also serve 14 counties in Northern West Virginia.  Over 100 dialysis clinics and nearly 6,000 patients depend on them each year for information, services and support.

All programs and services offered by the NKF Serving the Alleghenies are made possible through the generous support of individuals, companies and foundations who are interested in taking kidney and urinary diseases from treatment to cure!
